About
Ellie Hanson is a choreographer, dance educator and former professional performer dedicated to developing confident, versatile and technically accomplished performers.
A graduate of The Urdang Academy in London, one of the UK's leading performing arts institutions, Ellie built a professional career in musical theatre, including touring productions and large-scale entertainment, with credits in London, across the UK and internationally.
Since 2021, Ellie has been Resident Choreographer for both Encore Youth Theatre and Discarded Nut Youth Theatre, creating choreography for a diverse range of productions while supporting the artistic and technical development of hundreds of performers.
Ellie is also the creator of The Performance Intensive Series and Technical Dance Foundations, programmes designed to provide aspiring performers with industry-led training in a supportive and encouraging environment. Drawing on her professional experience, she is passionate about creating opportunities that challenge, inspire and prepare performers for future training and performance.
